Eaton has issued a product safety notice regarding certain solar-powered, motion-activated fixtures that contain Lithium Ion battery packs that may result in internal electrical shorts and could cause the plastic housing to melt. Schneider Electric has identified a potential nonconformance with certain Square D Brand General Duty, 120/240 volt, 30 and 60 amperes, safety switches manufactured from January 1st, 2014 - January 18th, 2018 (date codes 1401 - 1803), built to UL 98 standard. The safety switch can potentially remain energized when the handle is in the "OFF" position. This poses a potential risk of an electric shock or electrocution hazard to consumers.
Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems (WDK) is notifying customers that certain switched enclosure products (with part #s and pictures attached) built by WDK from November 1, 2017 through February 7, 2018, have a feature that may allow a padlocked device to be energized when using some commercial padlocks.
Panasonic is recalling its metal cutting saw, PAS EY3530NQMKW. This saw is also in the drill saw kit, PAS EY3530NQMKW. Stop usage immediately. Panasonic will replace the affected saw's lower guard at no charge. Please see Product Recall document for detailed instructions.
