STOCK MERCHANDISE RETURN REQUEST

Return with Invoice
Immediate credit for materials returned in normal stocked quantities and saleable condition. All electronic returns must be in factory sealed cartons. Wire cuts* and conduit cuts** will be subject to a (minimum of 30%) restocking charge.

Return without Invoice
Credit for stocked materials returned in normal quantities and saleable condition will be issued subject to a (minimum of 30%) restocking charge.

Return of Defective Merchandise:
Credit, exchange or repair will be issued based on the manufacturer’s policy for defective items.

Automation Products
Defective material is either repaired and returned or replaced directly to the customer in accordance with manufacturer’s warranty policy.

Electronics
For out-of-box defective product or product failures after installation, the following applies:

HDTV sets less than 40” will be sent back. A replacement TV will be exchanged for an out-of-box failure upon return of defective unit. All other product failures during the first year will be handled through the warranty process.

HDTV sets, 40” and larger will normally be repaired in the field at the owner’s facility. The manufacturer has the option to provide a new HDTV to the customer or to have an authorized service company complete the needed repairs.

Out-of-box failures of such as receivers, DVD players and Wallstations should be inspected by a Viking Specialist to determine whether an RMA or return to a repair facility is preferred. Damages caused by incorrectly connecting the product will require repair by an authorized repair facility. Charges may apply.

Meters
Ideal and Greenlee meters carry a limited lifetime warranty against a defect in workmanship. Meters valued under $150 can be immediately exchanged.

All other meters and testers must be returned to the factory for repair or replacement based on the manufacturer’s warranty policy.

Power Tools
Defective power tools purchased from stock can be returned for credit or replacement within 30 days. If invoice is older than 30 days, the product must be sent to an authorized tool service center for vendor assessment.

NON-STOCK “SPECIALS/DIRECTS” MERCHANDISE RETURN REQUEST

Returns Valued at Less than $50 cannot be processed.

Return Valued from $50 to $500:
Credit will be issued subject to a minimum of a 30% restocking charge and freight costs incurred returning material to the vendor. Credit will be issued when the material is shipped to the vendor.

Return Greater than $500:
Credit will be issued subject to manufacturer’s restocking charges and freight costs incurred returning material to the vendor. Credit will be issued upon Viking Electric’s receipt of the actual vendor credit.

Return of Made-to-Order Material:
Non-returnable

Return of Special Order Electronics:
Non-returnable without prior manufacturer’s appro

*Wire cuts size 1/0 and larger copper or aluminum wire in 100’ or greater lengths are returnable. Size #1 and smaller copper or aluminum wire must be a minimum length of 250’.

**Conduit cuts in 25’ or greater lengths are returnable.
