This is a Product Recall Notice. Ridge Tool recently determined that catalog #54177 strain relief (cord connector) that retains the cord to the 700 Power Drive can cut the 700 Power Drive power cord. This could result in wire damage that could result in severe injury from electric shock.

This is a Product Recall Notice. Ridge Tool recently determined that the catalog #44905 ON/OF/REV switch installed in these 700 Power Drives can stick in the ON or REV position during use. This could result in the user losing control of the power drive and result in sever in injury.

Ideal Voltware
Ideal has identified a quality issue where the new IDEAL Voltware NCV Tester (#61) does not properly indicate voltage on some 3-phase electrical systems. If the tester does not properly operate, a potential electrical hazard exists if the user does not test for voltage with a different tester or meter. So, these units must not be used because of the risk of serious personal injury.
